Campion Marine Combustible Dust Engineering & Gelcoat Spray Booth Consulting
CURA provided Campion Marine with engineering assistance to aid this powerboat manufacturing company to comply with safety audit items identified by WorkSafeBC during routine audits. CURA provided general combustible dust hygiene guidelines and a combustible dust housekeeping regimen and interval as well as designed a monitoring method to ensure compliance with relevant NFPA and WorkSafeBC standards. Manufacturing, cutting and assembly workspaces were audited to determine compliance with related Electrical codes/standards.
The drive-in/out gelcoat spray booths were also audited for conformance to NFPA standards, and airflow testing was performed by CURA to ensure that the ventilation equipment provided adequate control of combustible vapours below applicable guidelines.
Please contact us if you require assistance with the design of a combustible dust mitigation program, full facility safety & dust code assessment, or if you require expertise in managing the hazards of industrial spray coatings.
