Shuswap Lake Hospital – Hot Water Heating System Upgrades

CURA was retained by the hospital to diagnose the cause of nuisance hot water boiler shutdowns that resulted after the engagement of backup heating systems that occurred once during a period of particularly cold winter weather.

An extensive expert evaluation of the entire site’s hot water heating systems was conducted, and multiple recommendations were made for emergency repairs to the hydronic heating systems as well as longer-term upgrades aimed at stabilizing the operation of the site’s hot water heating systems.

Critical upgrades were completed by CURA in an accelerated format and implemented by local contractors, while longer-term upgrades were planned and executed in a phased approach.
